It all started when Arlene went on a medical mission trip in 2014.

“I saw a great need that many of us take for granted - shoes! Plantation workers working barefoot in toxic soil which was causing damage to their health, kidney health.” (Arlene Valdivia)

On a second mission trip to Guatemala two years later, Arlene visited an orphanage, “and that’s when my eyes were opened.” 

The children, the children, we need to reach the future generations! If we can help make a difference in the children, there is the hope of change for the better in the future. 

Abounding Ministries goal is to duplicate this dream in Cuba, Central America, South America, and Mexico.

“God has put it in our hearts to establish new and support existing orphanages, and other legitimate organizations that share the same passion as we do, to rescue, provide and build up these children without a home.”
